David Alan Corbin was born in Pennsylvania and now resides in Amarillo, Texas. Photography and metal design has played a major role in his impact on the art world. Most of his time is now being spent experimenting with welded steel and coloring-texture combinations. He prides himself in knowing that a unique piece has been created and each piece will be enjoyed for many years to come. Utilizing as much recycled metal as possible, Corbin creates pieces of forever lasting beauty and functionality.

An epiphany is the sudden realization or comprehension of the larger essence or meaning of something. The term is used in either a philosophical or literal sense to signify that the claimant has "found the last piece of the puzzle and now sees the whole picture," or has new information or experience, often insignificant by itself, that illuminates a deeper or numinous foundational frame of reference. I feel every artist should have this profound sense of experience with each click of the shutter or stroke of the brush. I try to include a part of this realization with images that I create. An image that not only captures the essence of light but also infuses a personal touch of awareness.
